Spencer is a bit of a sad story for us. He arrived in a group of American models that also included Brady Jansen, Alex Waters, and Austin Merrick. As a trial, we managed to shoot only a few scenes and a photoshoot with him. We were prepared to shoot with him more, but he then embroiled himself in a serious conflict with his scout, which ended up in an ugly (and quite public) online spat. When we see this kind of behavior in a boy, he becomes too great a risk for us to take on, regardless of whether the allegations are true or not. Spencer left us and eventually found religion. I’m disappointed that we couldn’t shoot more with him. He was a good model. But given the circumstances, it’s probably better this way.
